Digital Collective Africa
The Digital Collective Africa has been formed as a Non-Profit entity and is putting together a Council, whose role is to steer the governance of its actions towards fostering investment into African VC firms and tech entrepreneurs, particularly through the development of open-source resources (best practices, open data repository, research).
The council will be composed of about a dozen representatives from various parts of the continent.

Abi Mustapha-Maduakor

Abi is currently the CEO of AVCA.
During her tenure as AVCA’s Chief Operating Officer, Abi played an integral role in driving the Association’s strategy, prioritizing knowledge exchange and digitization. She led the Association, strengthened focus on data and pioneering research, professional development support for private equity stakeholders, and strategic regional partnerships, all of which grew the membership to around 150 investors collectively managing US$1.5trn in assets.

Director Country Manager for Plug and Play Tech Center (“PnP”) in South Africa. PnP is a Silicon Valley headquartered Venture Capital, Startup Business Development Accelerator, and Corporate Innovation platform with 35+ offices in 18 countries across 5 continents. She spent time working at its headquarters in Sunnyvale, California prior to returning to Johannesburg and is responsible for leading PnP’s operations in South Africa

Iyinoluwa Aboyeji is an entrepreneur in the public interest. He is passionate about partnering with missionary talent and capital to build an African future. He spent the last few years as the CEO of Flutterwave, a business building payments technology, and infrastructure to connect Africa to the global economy.
